You will be picked up at 6:00 am at your hotel in Cartagena to take you in a 6-hour drive to Santa Cruz de Mompox. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Bolivar department and the distinctive Montes de María. When you arrive at your hotel at Mompox you can rest and leave your luggage in your room. At 2:30 pm a guide will pick you up at your hotel for a Historical and Crafts tour in Mompox. Here you will be able to visit the goldsmiths' workshops, famous for their filigree work, and observe the mastery and beauty of this traditional technique and the jewelry made. You will visit the most charming plazas and churches while you understand Mompox's history and its importance during the colonial period and Colombia's independence.
On the next morning, you will be able to enjoy your breakfast and the town on your own before departing at 3:00 pm to take you back to Cartagena.
