Located in the middle of the square you can see the Statue of Pedro Justo Berrío, who was once the governor of Antioquia and important politician for Medellín and Colombia. From there, you will walk to Junín Passage, a pedestrian street with all sorts of shops and local shops, bustling with street vendors and lively local life. After walking this little “rambla” for some minutes, you will go to Plaza de Bolívar, a place that holds the breathtaking Cathedral of Medellin where local tango singers folk together.
