Tropical rainforest climate; hot and humid year-round with frequent rainfall. Average temperatures around 25-30°C (77-86°F).
Altitude
Generally low-lying, around 100 meters (330 feet) above sea level.
Getting Around
Primarily by boat along the Amazon River and its tributaries. Some short jungle treks are done on foot. Air travel is the main way to reach Leticia from other Colombian cities.
