Altitude
It is primarily coastal, ranging from sea level up to low foothills.
If you want to hike to the Lost City, you will reach an altitude of up to 1,800 metres above sea level.
Climate
Tropical and humid, with average temperatures around 27-30°C (80-86°F) year-round.
Getting Around
Within the park, movement is mostly on foot via well-marked trails. Horseback riding is also an option for some stretches. Access to the park entrance is by car or bus from Santa Marta.
