Description

Chocó is one of the most diverse regions in the world; a unique place in terms of biological and cultural diversity. It is recognized as one of the 25 prioritized areas in the world for nature preservation. With it’s frequent rains and dense tropical rain forests, this place is the habitat of numerous plant, reptile, bird, amphibious, and insect species. Moreover, it is home for whales and  newborn whales who are prepared during approximately 4 months in calm waters before moving on to their long journeys throughout the oceans.

Your trip will start by picking you up at your hotel in Medellín to take you to the airport and fly to Nuquí. As soon as you arrive, you will be received to take you by boat to a eco-hotel located in the middle of nature with all the comfort you need.

During the following days you will have two whale watching trips, a visit to a waterfall, and a hike following Arusisito River. You can also enjoy the place on your own, chilling out in the sea, surfing( at your own expense), diving (at your own expense) or even having a yoga class ( at your own expense). You will be surprised by this region’s charm and nature richness as you’ll be able to see plenty of wildlife and biodiversity.

After 4 days of tranquility among nature, you will return to Medellín where a driver will be waiting to take you from the airport to your hotel.
