Day to day Travel Package to Colombia:

Day 1: Upside-down world in La Tatacoa Desert: Stars and Martian landscape (-/-/-)

Check-in at the hotel from 2:00 pm.

In the afternoon, take the Classic Tatacoa Tour. Explore the exotic landscapes of this tropical dry forest, walking through paths filled with ocher-colored geological formations in the Cusco sector, known for its red hues and significant geomorphology. Then, marvel at the gray tones of the Los Hoyos sector with its surreal, otherworldly landscapes. Approx. 4-hour tour. At night, visit the astronomical observatory for a stargazing experience guided by an astronomer, learning about the millions of stars that make up the Milky Way and the constellations in the sky. Through telescopes, observe details of the moon and some planets. Return to the hotel after 8:00 pm.

Day 2: Road trip from La Tatacoa to San Agustin (6h) and Special Coffee Tour (B/-/-)

Room check-out. It's recommended to depart for San Agustín before 9:00 am; the journey takes approx. 6 hours in private transport. In the afternoon, visit a coffee farm with micro-lots of specialty coffees. Learn about the world of coffee in the region with the highest coffee production in Colombia. With your host, explore the plantations, learn about different processes, and enjoy the flavors and aromas of a cup of smooth Colombian coffee.

Day 3: San Agustín World Archeological Park (HD) and visit to the Strait of the Magdalena with artisanal experience (B/-/-)

Tour of the San Agustín Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Immerse yourself in the magic and legacy of the pre-Colombian culture that once inhabited the Alto Magdalena region. Walk along trails surrounded by the fauna and flora of the Colombian Massif and connect with the ancient past at Mesitas A, B, C, the Lavapatas Fountain, Alto del Lavapatas, the Forest of Statues, and the Museum. The tour is done on foot with a professional guide. Duration: 4-5 hours, low difficulty level. In the afternoon, visit the Magdalena River Strait, where Colombia's main river narrows to just 2.20 meters amidst a stunning canyon between the eastern and central mountain ranges. Here, experience the art of banana fiber weaving with the Rengifo Becerra family, who will share this unique artisanal legacy of Colombia.

Day 4: Return (B/-/-)

Free morning. Explore the local culture on your own by visiting the town, its handicraft street, colorful murals, church, and coffee shops. Don’t forget to take a photo by the iconic San Agustín sign in the central park.
