Bookings, Payment Methods and Cancellation Policies
Our policies for bookings, payment methods and cancellation vary according to the kind of customer. Please read the conditions belowto determine whether you are a Business to Consumer customer (B2C customer) or a Business to Business and travel package customer (B2B and travel package).
B2B and travel package customer:
Bookings for B2C customer:
To confirm a booking, we require a booking deposit of at least 30%. Of the total amount. The remaining balance can be paid in cash at the start of the fist service of the services you hired, or can be paid using any of our payment methods (see below), before the start of the services.
Payment method for B2C customer:
Once you choose the programs of your preference, select the day and time of your choice and the number of participants in your group. Next, you can make your booking deposit as the following two payment methods:
You can pay a booking fee of 30% booking fee online with your credit card (or Paypal), and the balance of cash to our guide or driver before starting the first service. You can pay 100% upfront online with your credit card (or Paypal). However, a 4% surcharge applies for this option. You can pay with any of the major credit cards (VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX, DINERS). We also accept the payment via PayPal and via wire transfer without any surcharge but this applies only to payments above US$ 1,000. If you want to use this payment method, please ask the instructions to one of our representatives at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellation policy for B2C customer:
Travelers can cancel their tour or activity at any time. However, Impulse Travel will have the right to charge a cancellation fee according to the time in advanced when the cancellation was made. The corresponding cancellation fees are as follow.
To cancel your trip, please contact our travel consultants at email@example.com. The refund will be issued to the credit card that was used to pay, or to a PayPal account within the next 10 working days after the cancellation is effective.
For the layover tour, we offer a cancellation insurance for Bogotá Layover Tour. If this insurance was acquired at the time of the booking, the traveler is entitled to a full refund in case of flight delay or cancellation. The refund will be issued to the credit card that was used to pay, or to a PayPal account within the next 10 working days after the cancellation is effective.
Note: DMCs or travel agents who are only hiring tours and activities, may by subject to our B2C cancellation policies if authorized via email by an Impulse Travel representative.
Bookings for B2B and Travel Package customer:
To confirm a booking, we require a booking deposit of at least 50% of the total amount. The remaining balance must be paid 25 days before the start of the trip or before. If the booking takes place within the 25 days prior the start of the trip, the booking deposit must be 100%.
Quotes sent by Impulse Travel are valid for 24 hours. If a booking deposit is not made, Impulse Travel may change the price of the trip in the event the services engaged become altered for reasons alien to the company (i.e., variation in air ticket rates, hotels, etc.).
Payment method for B2B and Travel Package customer:
The booking fee and total amount must be paid by credit card (VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX, DINERS) or wire transfer. In case there are any charges, the customer must cover the transaction expenses.
Cancellation for B2B and Travel Package customer:
Note: DMCs or travel agents who are only hiring tours and activities, may be subject to our B2C cancellation policies if authorized via email by an Impulse Travel representative.
Additional costs due to events outside our control:
Additional costs incurred by passengers due to events or situations beyond Impulse Travel’s control (natural disasters, acts of God, terrorism, strikes or other political problems) are the exclusive responsibility of the client. Flights are sometimes subject to overbooking, delays, rescheduling or cancellations. If this happens, we will assist clients in making alternate arrangements to the best of our ability. However, Impulse Travel cannot be held responsible for denied boarding, delayed or cancelled flights nor for any additional costs resulting from missed land arrangements due to airline delays or cancellations.
Licenses and Trademarks
“IMPULSE TRAVEL – immersive travel experiences” is a trademark owned and registered by Via Colombia Travel Services S.A.S. Therefore, Via Colombia Travel Services S.A.S owns this site and is the author of images, texts, graphics, icons, software and any other contents on the site (henceforth called "content"), as well as codifications HTML, XML, PHP and CGI and other codes and texts in any format (henceforth called "code") used to implement this site.
No code or content can be modified, altered, copied, distributed, broadcasted, displayed, used, reproduced and/or published under any circumstances, except if it is expressly authorized by these rules or by the instructions on the sections of this site.

Via Colombia Travel Services and its divisions are against child pornography in accordance to Law 679 of August 3, 2001, issued by Colombia’s Congress, which prevents and counters the exploitation, pornography and sexual tourism with minors.
In accordance with the provisions of this law, all persons must prevent, block, combat and denounce the exploitation, lodging, use, publication, dissemination of images, documents, audio-visual archives, misuse of global information networks, or linkages of any kind related to pornographic material or sexual activities allusive to minors.
The violation of the foregoing can cause criminal and/or administrative liability.
Additional Terms and Conditions can be applied to reservations, purchase of goods and services and other sections of this site, according to the specific service provider and your agreement as a user to accept those terms.
This site is offered to you as a user for its acceptance without negotiating the terms, conditions and covenants contained therein. The relationship between impulsetravel.co and the users will be that of independent contractors and neither party (including officials, agents and employees) might be considered to be acting as partners, joint ventures, trusts, employees and/or common agents.
You may not assign, agree, outsource or delegate your rights, duties and responsibilities outlined here.
Organization and responsibilities:
The website impulsetravel.co belongs to VIA COLOMBIA TRAVEL SERVICES SAS., henceforth called Operating Agent, states that it acts as an intermediary between users and the entities or persons responsible for providing the services of ground transportation, lodging, car rental, food, extreme sports or any other service contracted through the Website impulsetravel.co and bogota-layover-tour.com. Here the Operating Agent agrees to comply with the services mentioned, except as specified in these Terms and Conditions. Also, the Operating Agent is not responsible for the failure of such entities in the execution of their duties, or by unforeseen events such as strikes, weather conditions, delays, earthquakes, quarantines, as well as the material, personal or moral damages that the passengers might suffer due to the loss, damage or theft of their baggage, accidents, illnesses or deaths.
In regards to the above-mentioned situations, the users must issue their claims directly to the companies providing the breached service. The Operating Agent will help the user as much as possible. These Conditions are governed by the rules of civil and commercial law and other applicable laws.
VIA COLOMBIA TRAVEL SERVICES SAS., ACTING AS A TRAVEL AGENCY IS SUBJECT TO THE LIABILITY REGIME ESTABLISHED BY LAW 300 OF 1996 AND IN REGLAMENTARY DECREE 1075OF 1997.
The prices mentioned in this site can be changed without previous notice due to the change in the cost of any item, or to changes in monetary exchange rates.
The fact of signing up for any of the offered programs means that nothing should be understood or imagined as included imagined if it is not described in the program.
Our packages will discriminate airfare and land portion. The airfare provided by us on our quotes is an estimate. At the moment of the booking, we will quote the real airfare and the quote will be valid for the next 24 hours. The value of the airfare must be paid 100% up front and is non-refundable. In case of changes to the domestic flights, the penalties and charges of the airline will apply.
The Operator expressly denies any liability in case of loss, damage or theft under any circumstances. We recommend that passengers witness the handling, loading and unloading of their baggage.
Changes made by the client/passenger:
Until we confirm your booking you can make any changes for free. In case of any changes afterwards, the Operator will calculate the current prices that may differ from the originally set amount.
Via Colombia Travel Services has an insurance for the services operated by the company. The insurance works under the next conditions:
The client must provide the passport number to Via Colombia Travel Services with a minimum of 2 hours in advance. If the company doesn´t receive the passport number within the time required, the company will not be responsible in case of an accident during the service(s) operated by Via Colombia travel Services.
The insurance coverage only works during the services operated by Via Colombia Travel Services.
In case of an accident, the insurance covers 25.000.000 COP.
We strongly recommend clients to purchase travel insurance in their country of origin, for protection in case of cancellation, baggage loss, medical emergencies and other risks

When a client enrols in any program sold by Via Colombia Travel Services he states that he knows and approves the terms of the General Conditions mentioned above, which are available to be printed, as well as the special conditions described in the brochure of every program. Limitations on commercial and personal use: This site can only be used to make reliable reservations or purchase good, and cannot be used for purposes other than those described herein. Speculative, false, or fraudulent reservations will not be conducted. As a user, you assume that your legal age is sufficient to make use of this site and therefore accept the legal and financial obligations that it may entail. You agree that you are reliable with all the responsibilities arising from the use of the site impulsetravel.co whether these are caused by you or by any third party which is using your password. The information, programming code, products and other services published on this site may contain typographical errors and inaccuracies.
