"Get to know Colombia's diverse and delicious gastronomy on this Half-day tour in Bogotá."
One of the best ways to get to know a country is through its gastronomy. With this half-day tour, you'll be able to know much of Colombia through a gastronomic journey that will give you a taste of each region. You will be taken to key places to taste delicious and diverse regional food while you learn about culture and tradition.
To begin, you will go to Pastelería Florida, a traditional bakery established more than 80 years ago, to have an amazing breakfast. Here you will taste a traditional breakfast of the Andean region accompanied by a delicious typical hot beverage called Aguapanela.
After, you will move through the city center into Septimazo, a very diverse place where you will find a wide variety of things, street artists, singers, food karts, handicrafts, and many more. On the way, we will make a few stops for you to try various food stalls to amaze your palate.
Then you will go to Paloquemao, one of the biggest and oldest food markets in the capital, where you will find all of Colombia’s agricultural diversity and its richness. You will also see meat, fish, handicraft products and an extremely gorgeous flower market. Even though it’s not the typical touristic destination, you will surely love it for its lively atmosphere.
There is a saying that says: “the way to a man’s heart, is through his stomach” and we have no doubt that after this tour you will fall in love with Colombia.
